Make a change: Help the Rainforest !
We are proud to feature: The Rainforest Alliance who are an international nonprofit organization working to conserve biodiversity, ensure sustainable livelihoods, and arrest the major drivers of deforestation. They do this by ensuring that millions of acres of working forests, farms, ranchlands and hotel properties are managed according to rigorous sustainability standards.
The Amazon rainforest is vital to global climate stability and home to 1 million Indigenous people—as well as countless plant and animal species. Its survival is critical to our collective future. In response to the horrific surge of forest fires in the Brazilian Amazon, they are mobilizing their broad network of partners to fight the ongoing destruction of this precious ecosystem. Following a staggering increase in fires this year it's clear the world must stand together to stop ongoing threats to the Amazon.
Rainforest Alliance are working to leverage their longstanding relationships in the public and private sectors to pressure the Brazilian government to reinstate the environmental enforcement that is essential to defending the Amazon against illegal logging, destructive slash-and-burn agriculture, and other existential threats.
